This disaster is a major challenge for the people. We are told them people are still sleeping on the streets, football fields, and monasteries, as they are fear of entering into their houses. Many houses in Mandalay areas are damaged so badly. Cooperation between the government, local organizations, and international aid groups is very important.
Words of thanks from the team
Thank you so much for your love and generous donation. Because of your donation, we have been able to distribute food items to thousands of suffering families in Mandalay and Sagaing region.
Currently, we are receiving donations through DAI. These donations are immediately sent to earthquake affected communities. These funds are then distributed by the three local teams (see below MSRT teams).
We want to express our deepest gratitude to churches, organizations, and all the individual donors for your love for God and for the people of Myanmar.
So far, we have received donations of 32000USD. We want to thank everyone for your love, financial support and ongoing prayer support for the people of Myanmar.
We still need a lot of help, thanks you so much for your generous support. May God bless you abundantly.
Please continue to pray
- We will continue to do relief effort for the new few months.
- As for the initial pace, we have been providing food items, but soon we may have to move into the second pace, which is providing material for temporary building and rebuilding of homes.
- We have printed ‘Beyond disaster’ spiritual first aid booklet will be distributing soon to the earthquake victims. We are training a group of Church leaders, to go to the region, not only to deliver relief items but also to be ready to deal with the people’s emotional and spiritual needs.
- We are also planning to offer ongoing ‘Trauma healing’ program to local church leaders in Mandalay OR send some of our experience Facilitators to the region so that they can be blessings to the people as they rebuild their lives.
